Services / Managed Services / Flexible IT Support & Management

Support shaped around what you need now.

NorthBridge distinguishes between SDA and SDA+: two forms of IT support and management delivered on a reasonable-efforts basis, with a different emphasis on scope and responsibility.

SDA and SDA+

Start flexibly. Organise deliberately.

Support and management are established parts of IT service management. The right model depends on the question, the organisation already in place and the responsibility you want to assign.

SDA focuses on support and targeted expertise when required. SDA+ gives management a more structured place within an agreed scope. NorthBridge takes greater responsibility for day-to-day service delivery, but the service is not presented as an SLA.

Both models are delivered on a reasonable-efforts basis. We agree the capacity, scope, roles and review arrangements. We do not promise availability, response, resolution or outcomes.

In 40 seconds

From focused assistance to more structured management.

The video shows how SDA and SDA+ support day-to-day continuity. The service deliberately remains effort-based: assistance when needed, or a broader management role within the agreed scope.

The choice

Two models. One clear boundary.

The model follows the organisation. We do not add more management than needed, and make explicit which responsibilities remain with NorthBridge, the client and other IT providers.

Moving up is not automatic. SDA can develop into SDA+ when recurring management needs and ownership justify it. An SLA only becomes appropriate when service levels genuinely need to be defined and governed.

Who is SDA for?
Organisations with their own governance or management capability that need temporary capacity, specialist expertise or targeted support.
Who is SDA+ for?
Organisations that want to assign a defined management scope more structurally and give NorthBridge greater responsibility for day-to-day service delivery.
How do we agree scope and capacity?
We document the work, priorities, available capacity, review arrangements and dependencies. Current needs then determine where the effort is directed.
Where do responsibilities remain?
Decisions, internal processes and anything outside the assigned scope remain with the client. Suppliers retain their contractual roles. NorthBridge makes the interdependencies and outstanding choices visible.
How does scaling work?
Capacity and expertise can be adjusted by agreement. We discuss the impact on planning, continuity and outstanding work in advance.
What do we deliver?
Completed work, useful management information, recorded decisions, current points for attention and an evidence-based next step. Outcomes remain dependent on scope, available capacity and cooperation from the parties involved.

From a question to the right level of support.

  1. Understand needs and context

We discuss business impact, the work queue, available knowledge and dependencies.

  2. Agree scope and roles

We make clear what NorthBridge does and what remains with the client or other IT providers.

  3. Deliver and coordinate

The agreed capacity is directed to the current priorities.

  4. Review and adjust

We review progress, open risks and whether SDA, SDA+ or another model is now the better fit.

Decide how much support and management is right for now.
